Who keeps your details
This page covers elmomtaz4decor.com, the website of El Momtaz Decor, a décor workshop and shop in Alexandria, Egypt. Questions about anything here go to [email protected], which is also where every request about your data should be sent.
What the order form takes, and why
When you send the order form, it passes your name, e-mail address, the delivery address you typed, the pieces and quantities you chose, the finish and colour preferences, the estimated total and any message to the mailbox above. The form is delivered by FormSubmit, a form-forwarding service, which passes it on as an e-mail; it does not sell what it forwards. We use these details only to answer your request, send a payment link, pack and address the crate, and deal with any return. Payment card details are never typed into this website.
We keep order e-mails for as long as tax and bookkeeping rules in Egypt ask a shop to keep sales records, and delete enquiries that never became an order within twelve months.
Who else sees them
The carrier that delivers your crate receives your name, delivery address and, where it asks for one, your e-mail for tracking. The provider behind the payment link receives what it needs to take the payment. Nobody else gets your details from us, and we never sell or rent them.
Cookies and the consent choice
The site itself sets no cookies. On a first visit a small card asks about analytics and performance measurement.
Whatever you choose is written as a single entry, named emd_cookie_ok, in your browser's local storage, so
the card does not reappear. Nothing on the site reads that entry today, because no analytics or advertising tool is
installed. If one is ever added, it will run only for visitors whose stored choice allows it, and this page will be
updated first. The only outside request each page makes is to load its two typefaces from a web-font service.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, receive a copy in a common format to take elsewhere, or object to a particular use. These are the rights the European GDPR describes, and we extend them to everyone. Visitors in California also have the rights set out in the CCPA: to know what personal information is collected and how it is used, to have it deleted, to opt out of its sale — we do not sell it — and not to be treated differently for using any of these rights.
To use any of them, write to [email protected] from the address you used with us. We reply within one month. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
